With many different reliefs and accents, this work was created using mixed media and encaustic techniques. The background seems blurred as one gains an indeterminate perspective of the space. In the foreground are the symbols of the fish and the flower, separated by space but united by color. The background also gives us the feeling that something must be revealed, something that is hidden and reveals the affiliation of the fish to the flower. The symbols communicate with us in a non-verbal language directly with our feelings.
